		<description>I would agree with you on this subject that facebook and MySpace are taking the place of email, but only for informal conversations.  For more formal conversations, say with a person you are professionally interacting with or a past colleague you haven&#039;t spoken to in years, e-mail will take precedence.  

I think there is a balance between the two platforms.  

I don&#039;t think organizations will replace e-mail because there is a record with e-mail that is inaccessible on social networks.</description>
