		<description>I think you are 100% correct in saying that traditional media isn&#039;t exactly at death&#039;s door, and that large issues like the bailout are still going to be driven by &quot;large&quot; media (tv and the like). 

However I also think it&#039;s important to re-emphasize that while the citizens may have been &quot;worked into a lather&quot; by traditional media, citizens turned to new media to deliver THEIR messages and THEIR information back to Congress, as well as pass their information along to friends, family and networks.

I&#039;d like to see how many Tweets were made and how many Facebook links were posted and how many YouTube pages were shared as people disseminated the news of the bailout, as well as the news of the failed legislation.
